Shrinepunk is a Touhou derivative work created by MegaFrog. It re-imagines the world of Gensokyo in a futuristic science-fiction thriller inspired by the cyberpunk genre. Shrinepunk began as a series of short stories published on A03. The setting of Shrinepunk also serves as a homebrew setting for the tabletop roleplaying game, Shadowrun.
Touhou Project is the intellectual property of Team Shanghai Alice. Shrinepunk may not accurately represent the series. Team Shanghai Alice does not endorse the contents of Shrinepunk. Shrinepunk is published under Team Shanghai Alice's derivative work guidelines. Shrinepunk is a fictional series; any similarities to real persons or entities is coincidental.
