The Animal Spirit Yakuza are a group of criminal clans in Hell. Animal Spirit Yakuza clans follow a matriarch, and are represented by a patron spirit. While the Animal Spirit Yakuza clans originate from hell, where they are most influential, though each clan has a presence in Deep City. Members of the Yakuza clans often invite their patron spirit to possess them, which grants access to magic according to the spirit's nature. Yakuza members identify themselves with masks resembling a cartoon depiction of their patron spirit.
